No fault insurance claim is there any drawbacks to choosing your own garage

    I don't have hire car included on my policy, but as it's a no fault, I guess they have to foot the bill.

    The car is new, which is exactly why I wanted to go with a Skoda bodywork garage.

    Enterprise do both credit hire and are also the provider of cars under various insurers "guaranteed courtesy car" or whatever marketing name an insurer has chosen for their option to have a hire car.

    If the third party insurers have made contact and offered hire then you absolutely must not now take a credit hire car. You can still take one provided under the terms of your policy but it'll be a long old battle if you take credit after the TPI has offered
