Should I Transfer part of my employment pension into my ISA?

Assuming it is a DC pension and assuming the money is in the default investment fund, it should have been growing by at least 5% a year for the last 5 years, probably more.
Unless it is being held in cash in the pension, which would mean the OP has changed the investment options at some point which seems unlikely.

No, you shouldnt tranfer any part from pension to isa.
You first need to read up and learn what pension is and how it works.
Many employers have very friendly user guides. Also, pensionwise has lots info.
You wouldnt try to drive car, without first learning how to drive.0 -
OP, you should have had a statement at some point which says who the pension is invested with (e.g. Nest, Aviva), and what the name of the fund is that you are invested in.
If you post those details on here, people will be able to provide you with further feedback.

General advice is to leave a pension alone. By all means pay more in, but don't take money out until it's time to retire

ISAs and pensions can share the same investment options. Pensions are more tax-efficient than ISAs. So, the question shouldn't be about taking money out of the pension to put into the ISA (which would likely be daft in this case), but whether you should take it out of the ISA to put into the pension.

Think you have the 'daft' bit the wrong way round, should presumably be 'out of the pension to put into the ISA'?

Thats what happens when you use AI to correct grammar and dont read the result!! - now corrected.

Perhaps there should be a forum rule introduced banning the use of AI in answering people's questions

There already is one:
'Fake news' has a significant impact in society, and it is wise to verify something before blindly stating it as true, or sharing it on a public Forum. Be wise. If we feel something does cross the line and/or is harmful or detrimental to our users, we reserve the right to remove it.
This includes posts we believe have been generated by AI. Artificial intelligence can be a useful tool – MSE has its own AI features – but the Forum is a place for real people to share their experiences and insights.
and one of the admins posted about this last year:
but to me there's a difference between selectively using AI to tidy something up versus copy/pasting vast swathes of auto-generated content!

To be fair, I was using grammarly which I have subscribed to for over a decade. It normally just corrects spelling and grammar. However, more recently, it has offered more rewriting for tonal styles, and that has had less success. Most of the time, it works well, but sometimes it switches the order and style of a sentence or paragraph, leading to a mix of old and revised versions and changing what you meant.
I also use Comet Browser (Chromium-based), which has a built-in AI assistant from Perplexity. Perplexity is my favourite AI tool. It's not an LLM itself, but a front end that auto-selects the right LLM for your enquiry. I haven't done a Google search in months as Perplexity has taken over.
On a thread I posted this morning, I included a negative reference to Trump's policies and the impact on global views. The AI assistant said:
"– on MSE that’s likely to trip the “avoid political debate” warning and invite mod attention. You might keep the point but neutralise the wording, e.g…… "
I used the AI assistant wording in my post, which said the same thing in a different way and wouldn't offend anyone. However, I was very surprised that it referred to MSE that way.
