Just received an email offering for a parking charge to avoid court by paying DCB Legal £60
As above. They sent this just now to me after I've been fighting a separate parking charge and won by DCB giving up and sending out an N279.
I've fought this one similarly to the previous (Link) though I don't recall them sending me another offer after mediation was concluded. Especially since I've just gotten the court date letter for this !!!!!! charge advising as the previous one did that the claimant will have to pay the £27 fee before it gets seen by a magistrate.
So my only question is: Is this one last ditch attempt to extort money out of me before they likely discontinue this claim too, ort is this a tactic they employ when they intend to proceed to court?
