UKCPS Charge - Leeds Train Station
Back on the 27th October 2025, I went to Leeds Train station to pick up my wife and Daughter at around 11:30pm.
Their train hadn't arrived yet, so I needed somewhere to wait for them. The pick up point allows you to wait for 10 minutes, I wasn't sure if this would be enough time, so I drove down the street, to see if there was anywhere to park. There was ataxi rank and everywhere else was a "No Stopping Zone".
I don't know the area, so I stopped briefly to check a map and see if there was somewhere nearby that I could wait. I made sure I wasn't causing any obstruction, and was only stopped for a few minutes. As it happened, my wife messaged to say they had arrived, so I pulled over to the waiting area and picked them up.
I received a letter on the 7th November with a parking charge (photo attached). I appealed this.
A few days later I went to check if there had been a response, and my parking charge was no longer on their system. I made sure all details were correct, but nothing showed up.
Then, I received a letter dated 9th January 2026 from Trace Debt Recovery, and the total now owed was £170.
I wrote to Trace customer service telling them the above, and that UKCPS had not been in touch, not to contact me as I will deal with UKCPS.
I have received an email response from Trace saying the following:

Thank you for your recent correspondence relating to the above case reference. We have considered the points you raise in yourletter and can advise as follows;
You have already made representation to our client, who have responded accordingly. We cannot overturn their decision.
In our client’s letter rejecting your appeal you were offered the opportunity to refer your appeal to an Independent Adjudication Service provided by our clients Accredited Trade Association. You did not take this step and we must advise that all appeal avenues have now expired. Our client will not assess a further appeal at this stage.
Our client also sent you a second reminder which went unanswered. Considering the evidence we hold we have to advise that the PCN and its associated processes are in line with industry standards and are compliant with our clients Accredited Trade Association’s code of practice. Your next opportunity to appeal is the county court. Please accept this letter as written confirmation that the above debt remains due and you must make payment of £170.00 no later than 14 days from the date of this letter to prevent further recovery action being taken.
You can pay online at www.thetracegroup.co.uk or by phone calling 03300 080 477.If you are having difficulty paying, please phone our payment helpline on 01604 968 123 to discuss payment options. We have to advise that if you do not pay the full amount by the date shown above or you have not contacted us to agree a paymentoption by then, we will be forced to take further recovery action which will include passing the case/s to our solicitor and couldinclude court action.
Please note: We will not enter into any further correspondence regarding this matter.

I didn't receive any correspondance from UKCPS, either via phone, email, post or online (as the fine didn't show up on their system anymore)
Not sure what I can do now.

what did you say in the appeal?
did you admit to driving?

Go here read Newbies thread and follow the advice. NEVER deal with debt collectors, never talk on the phone, only admit to being the keeper not driver, keep all paperwork.

Your posted images have been removed you must have left personal info showing. See IMPORTANT info (yellow box) near top of page.
Check your junk folder for their appeal rejection letter. Did you receive UKPCS second reminder as Trace say?
Appeal stage may well be closed but option for a formal complaint is not if you didn't receive correspondence UKPCS claim they sent.

You are certainly not going to make a payment!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
