Sold on ebay and vinted, trying to complete a SA on items i have very little proof of purchases

This should be easy to provide evidence for, e-mails of booking confirmations for holidays and business travel, and text exchanges about when your daughter was travelling.  Much easier to evidence than if for example you were someone who collected them solely as a collection, then later decided to sell some off.  (I gather there's some element of that, but the fact they were in fact used for travel and that's a reason for buying a lot, is helpful.)

The backpacks might be a bit tricky unless they appear in photos being used, but they are consistent with what you say about the overall situation, similar to the packing cubes.  

You were definitely overthinking it before because there are things that very clearly are old unwanted personal possessions, just focus on gathering evidence for the items that might look more like potential trading just in case they do query you.

I assume the excels from eBay include the listing titles?  Do they also include any description?  My only worry would be that by the time HMRC got round to investigating (if they are going to), the listings with the descriptions would have gone, which potentially form part of your proof that some of the items were used and any explanation you might have included for why you were selling them.  So it might be an idea if you can maybe take screenshots or something, just as a backup to cover yourself in case they do investigate.

yeah i did buy several of the same backpack, the particular brand sell out quickly and its takes a year to get back in stock,  our daughters are early twenties so the plan was for me and my wife to do city breaks during 2025, my middle is doing them with her boyfriend so i thought perfect these bags can carry everything all in compartments so again bought several even though i didnt need them but told myself that they will come in handy.  Apparently i do that with bits of wood and then store them in the garage and every 100 years someone will need something and i go see that's why i kept this bit of wood,  (i've been told that never happens)  ive downloaded and took some screenshots of both sites as that's a great idea,  hopefully i get a human at HRMC rather than a bot and they can see i haven't tried to hide anything or become a trader,  I already pay a high tax and only last few years have not had to do a SA and definately don't want to start again, i still have a car spoiler,  keyring and a office chair on vinted which hasnt sold but i would prefer them to close the account and send me the money in the account, ebay there is nothing on there currently.
