Has anyone had any luck with HSBC in getting the interest rate on their card slashed? Do they offer "retention" deals?

LOL It might be long, long after the question was asked but 'yes'! Write then a harsh letter, run off what you want them to know, wait and if they want to save face (and you feel lucky) they'll make a favourable decision. Remember be open and forthright and hold nothing back.
