DCBlegal Letter of Claim just received

Hello,

I've just received a letter of claim from DCBlegal ltd. They outline the 30 day period and its £170 charge blah blah.

I've searched the forum for the email address to send the templated response to and came up with: info@dcblegal.co.uk is this correct?

I'm happy to take this all the way as the PCN was sent to my old address (my fault I didn't update my log book as I was young and never moved out before).

I've also had two further parking fines from Euro Car Parks in the years since (contravention date for this one was 22/02/2023). Where I successfully appealed for the same reason both times. I was a genuine customer and the signage is ambiguous.

Do I just send the templated response to that email address and then wait for the next steps?

Thank you

Yes correct,  email the LoC response template to DCB Legal

Then wait for the inevitable N1SDT court claim pack from the CNBC in Northampton using MCOL to arrive in the post before Xmas

Ensure that you inform everyone involved of the correct address for the service of papers,  especially the DPO at all the parking companies,  plus DCB Legal
  • Just had an email back from them. Just them restating that its compliant with pre action protocol blah blah. It says I have 30 days to pay, I'm assuming I just ignore this and see whether Euro Car Parks instruct them to take it further? The guide doesn't say what to do at this phase, only if they come back and I need to do a defense etc. Just wanting to check I don't have to do anything until they take it further? Thank you

Its a reactive system, you react to every action in a long drawn out process

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
