fiber optic Christmas tree - any deals out there?

Hi all,

I had a fantastic fiber optic tree (6ft) last year, and then the lights stopped working. I gave it away as I didn't know how to fix it, and bought a real tree this year. This was stupid, and mainly down to peer pressure as in my area all the mums boast about their real trees....:o

Anyway - what a disaster. I spent hours sweeping up those blinking sharp needles and although I put the tree outside a couple of days ago, we still can't walk barefoot because of them - countless vacuums and sweepings later. Also, that spray that they con you into buying to stop the needles falling? It doesn't work at all!"

To cut a long boring story short, I'm looking for a deal on a Christmas tree now, to keep until Christmas next year. Id really like a fiber optic, but if you've seen any deals on nice ones (I like bushy ones, not the ones which have v. thin branches.) then I would consider getting one. To be honest, I'm hoping to get for around a tenner or less, as my original tree cost around that second hand.

Thanks

    Thanks all,

I'll carry on looking tonight but if I don't find any fiber optic, I'll get the tesco one (not fiber optic unfortunately, but nice enough.

So if you do see any deals before tomorrow, I'll check this thread before committing.

Bagged one of these last year at £12.25 it's just the jobby, easiest Christmas tree to set up you could hope for.

Has anyone spotted any further reductions on Christmas Trees at B&Q?
Last Friday they reduced the decs by 75%, would hope the trees to soon follow suit perhaps?
