It doesn't matter. You can acknowledge on receipt and still have the full 33 days from date of issue to file a defence, but regardless you have plenty of time.
Always remember to abide by Space Corps Directive 39436175880932/B:

I have carried out some further research and can find no advice on CPR Part 10 Acknowledgement of Service that requires the AoS to be done after the date of service, just BEFORE 14 days after date of service; I have therefore adjusted my comments that go with the deadline.
