WS stage for parking fine

Hello, I've followed all the information on here so far which has been so helpful but im at the witness statement stage and it just looks so daunting and my head just can't take it all in. Basically I was fined for not paying the correct amount, (19 mins over i think? On my defence that i sent off I mentioned I had no recollection of the date in question which was 29/12/2021, also I couldn't remember if I was even the driver, I honestly hadn't received any parking fines until the claim form came through last August. Please help as I feel like just giving up and paying the fine as its really stressing me out now. Its through Euro carparks/DCB legal. I'm no good with how to word things, how can I explain this in my witness statement if I couldn't even remember the date I got fined.

There was no fine,  just an invoice from a private parking company,  ECP

Sounds like it was for an overstay   ?

Post a redacted picture of the POC on the lower left of the claim form after hiding the VRM details first 

Check the issue date in the POC,  chances are that the date is incorrect,  most pcns are issued after the incident date,  by post

 I've received the witness statement yesterday from euro carparks, I just don't know how to word mine as I told them I don't remember what happened that day, considering it was over 3 years ago.

I'm just worried I won't have enough information to put on my statement has I genuinely can't remember the day in question, nothing stands out for me to remember. Sorry I'm just a worrier,  I panic over the smallest things.

it's easy for me to say because I'm laid back, but don't define yourself as 'a worrier'. It perpetuates the problem to label yourself, IMHO. I wish people wouldn't...
