Thank you very much for your encouragement. I'm definitely going to be speaking to the manager on Tuesday, it's time to push myself out of my comfort zone slightly and do things im not used to. I need the extra money it will provide with me and it will help me to get used to change, although it is with the same company it is visiting new people and places that i haven't seen or been to before, which i don't really like, but they are only new once, and the more i go to them the easier it will get. It will prepare me for when i find a completely new job and have to learn and start all over again meeting new people and going new places.

Interestingly the job advert for the job i will be talking to the manager about on Tuesday says "Use of company van to commute to and from work may be available (subject to managers discretion)" so if i could get the use of the van to commute to work then i would save money there on fuel and wear and tear on my car. But at the moment none of the other drivers currently do use the company van for commuting, but as it states it in the advert then i will ask if this is possible as it would save me valuable funds over time, It all adds up.

I'm thinking though that my current manager may not be very happy if i decide to move departments as she has said she doesnt want to lose me, when i mentioned i may have to find alternative employment, as she thinks im a good worker. Also the Regional manager may say no aswell, just coz he's not very nice so to speak. But we will see what happens. I can try and see what the outcome is. Hopefully it won't be for long until i find something else anyway.

End of week 13 of my investment journey. It is very early days and my pie is currently down -£24.93 (-2.27%) which considering the war isn't too bad. I kind of like that it has dipped and i'm continuing my investments every day, as it means i can get more for my money when it dips so benefit more when it eventually does rise again (the old pound cost averaging i keep reiterating). The important thing is not to panic and don't stop investing just because you see it dip in value, that is the most important time to continue with the daily deposits.

Be careful with the commuting 'to and from work' in a works van. It might be that classes you as having a company vehicle and as such you'd get taxed on the benefit of having it. It's possibly why none of the others are doing it. Ask how it works.

With it being bank holiday again tomorrow the stock market in the England is closed so i won't be depositing my usual deposit today. I will be starting again tomorrow ready to be invested into my pie first thing Tuesday morning.

Good news so far about the change in job, i spoke to the manager who was advertising the job im going for and he would love to have me on his team. He has someone lined up who can replace me in the role im leaving aswell so that helps with replacing me should there be any objections to me moving. He is going to talk to the regional manager about it tomorrow morning, then discuss it with my line manager also. So hopefully i will have more information and details tomorrow, but at the moment it sounds promising. it's perked my mood up a bit anyway so that's one good thing.
