Thank you Daisy, i try and catch Martin on Radio 5 Live at work on Thurdays but i missed him this week. I have listened to the podcast >> https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0mvv1w9 and two very relevant and interesting pieces in there like you mentioned. I can relate a lot to the last part near the end. I do need to learn to be ok with spending money on myself sometimes. But i think i have also hit the nail on the head with drip feeding money into investments as my current mortgage rate is low and i will be better off with the interest i gain over time than the interest i have to pay out. I can always relate alot to Martin and find him very much like myself when it comes to money nowadays. The end of the third week and a dip in the markets caused by Trump has seen my investment pie standing at a -£0.18 loss (-0.05%) this is not necessarily a bad thing because i drip feed my investments daily, so when the market dips it brings my average prices of my purchases down also, so when it does rise again it benefits me more. This is also only the very start of my investment journey, there is a long way to go yet.
