I love the quotes Tezza and think you're doing an amazing job with savings! I wish I understood stocks and shares. I hadn't realised that my powering through and pushing on with my goals had spurred my DP into putting some money away with stocks and shares too this month! He's not got much in there but he's having fun playing around with what to do with it and learning it. I'm glad because I would like to do this but genuinely have not got the math brain capacity to understand it it's all gobbledegook to me haha.
Thank you DFW, im glad he is having a look into Stocks and Shares, i think this really should be taught in schools (a long with a lot of other things that isn't) as it can be a very good long term way to compound your interest and make money long term and if you get really good at it, short term trading could be very profitable if you really know what your doing, but risky if you don't so i wouldnt recommend that to beginners. But im glad he is looking into it as it much better than putting money into a bank account with very little interest rates that they offer. The basics are not complicated, just takes time to learn the jargon, like most things i suppose.Debts Jan 6th 2025 = £6465.60
