Many thanks for the new thread and all your hard work @cathybird. I haven’t had a good December 2024 and haven’t achieved my target but know without this thread I would have drunk a lot more in 2024 so it really does help.
welcome to @brie and @lilian1977 - good luck with the challenge.5 -

Hi there cathybird and all the usual suspects,Eager to start a new year. Survived a lot of challenges last year and managed a fair total.May I set 24 AFD for January, and 300 AFD for the year. Not going to stress myself aiming too high, who knows what challenges there may be,but certainly 300 clear days can only be beneficial to my health and pocket!Bring it on!7

Happy New Year! 1/20 for me today please, to start off the year.
I had two glasses of wine last night, then spent an hour resisting opening a bottle of Cava. I didn't give in! I didn't stay awake for the bells, as I couldn't keep my eyes open after 10pm. I was woken by the fireworks at midnight, then again at 3am by the dog jumping on the bed. She got "bed" hissed at her (which always works). Her bed isn't usually in my bedroom, but she is absolutely terrified of fireworks, and hides under our bed, poor love. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?6 -

For the 2024 annual challenge we managed to do 2,751 AFDs between us, which is seven and a half years' worth of AFDs! I think we should feel proud.6
