Buying a house with probable rusting wall ties - does this affect home insurance?

I am in the process of buying a house which the survey has shown up as having corroded wall ties causing some horizontal cracks in the brickwork. I have had the price reduced to cover this remedial work.
However my question is, will this affect my ability to get buildings insurance when I first move into the house i.e. before the remedial work is carried out? There are no large cracks in the brickwork and certainly no bowing of the walls or anything....but can I tell an insurance company that the house is "structurally sound" or do I have to mention the suspicion of wall tie corrrosion?

I doubt it will affect insurance, but bear in mind the insurance won’t pay to fix resulting problems anyway.1

I seem to recall being asked whether the house is in good repair. I’ve never found out what happens if you say no, but I doubt it is good!No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
