I have part ex'd my current property to a developer and they are yet to sell it, I will be moving into my new property in 2 weeks. What should i do about the holes in the wall where TV brackets/shelves pictures etc.. once were hanging. I'm on the side of the fence where i just leave them rather than make good but being told different opinions, no idea if it will have an impact on my part ex ie charges etc..

Unless you agreed to make good or that the bracket/shelves/pictures were being sold as part of the property you just leave as is.0

When we moved out, we just filled them. The filler stood out like a sore thumb, given that it is a completely different colour to the painted wall, but not much else we could do. Our buyer moved in last week and hasn't complained. Conversely, our seller just left all the hooks and screws in the wall (there were loads) and we are just removing them or using them if we can.0

You are selling to a developer so kind of who cares.
Personally as a buyer I prefer holes are left and any mounting points also left. Let me decide whether to mount things in the same place or fix as part of general DIY.
Much prefer that than than a botch job.

I’d also vote for just leaving the holes or the fixings. We’ve reused some here - we even got left some TV brackets which has been useful!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
