Easement for sole use parking

The parking area at the back of my house is an easement, allowing me sole use for parking of two cars. My neighbors have the same adjacent space outside there house.
My problem is that over the years, my neighbor has moved further and further over into my parking area, to the point where I can no longer fit two cars in the space, and i have to ask him to move to get a second car in.
My parking area is partially blocked by a wall, which is part of the easement.
If i could take part of the wall down, both houses would have ample space to park two cars.
Am I allowed to take part of the wall down?
If I'm not allowed to do this, what are my options for managing the situation. I don't want to upset the good relationship with my neighbors, but I also don't want to ask permission to park on land that is meant to be for my sole use, which feels like I'm asking for permission to have visitors to my own house.
