Just noticed that my annual calculation hasn’t increased.
apparently, I could have taken at 60.
spoke to pension company and they say I can’t back date to age 60.
Zurich insurance is the Company and I’ve just checked that they do have back dated rules for deferred Pension……..not sure where to go from here…….!

So do you have an annuity or a db pension?
If it's a db pension, then how do Zurich fit in?0 -
Are you saying that you were a member of Zurich's own occupational pension scheme or that you were a member of another company pension scheme which either
was transferred to Zurich by way of a S32 policy
or
is administered by Zurich?
Normal Scheme Pension Age is 60?
How old are you now?
How long has the pension been deferred?
Have you obtained state pension forecast (assuming that you have not yet reached SPA)?

Are you male or female?
Was the pension scheme contracted out and if so were you a member of this scheme between 1978 and 1997?0 -

Where you go is back to Zurich to ask them if you can draw your pension now, backdated to age 60 - and if you can't, could they please explain to you exactly what your options are under the rules of your particular scheme.
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0
