I'm confused by Stoozing!

Maybe I don't understand Stoozing at all but couldn't someone simply set up a company that people purchased from that then put the money into the purchaser's bank account (minus a fee).

For example I register with the company and then they "sell" me a TV for £4000 which I pay for with my interest free credit card. This £4000 then goes into my bank account instead of me receiving a TV? The credit card company would never know and I would have my interest free money ready to save.

Maybe Martin could set up a charity we can donate to where the money goes into our accounts minus a small fee to the charity?

Why wouldn't this work?

I'm no legal expert, but I'm pretty sure that this would be fraudulent. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable than me would advise. (Plus, wouldn't the company that "sold" the TV be liable for tax on its profits?)

What about the credit card commission payable by the virtual business.
Apparently I'm 10 years old on MSE. Happy birthday to me...etc
  • I guess it just depends on whether the credit card fees would be less than the balance transfer fee you would normally pay.
