I reckon if electricals and plumbing are fine, the rest of the work is cosmetic? I could be wrong.

Also, I have no idea who has the side access on the right. Why is there a garage in the garden, where no vehicle can get due to the fence blocking access on the right?

It wasn't fully clear about access from the front in those photos, but a garage is a bit sturdier than a wooden shed for garden storage. Alternatively maybe for motorbike/ bicycles storage?0

Well, the roof looks ok, and the windows look ok. So it's largely paint a new floor coverings - that should be easy to price.
And a new kitchen - ditto.
Bathroom if you want.
Upgrade the Connie with an insulated roof.
How much of this can you manage yourself?
And, yes, check the two tracks coming up from the garage - do they squeeze past 'your' house on your side of your fence?0 -
The most expensive item are labour costs, the more you DIY the cheaper it is, but even then it doesn't take long to get to £50k for a tired property refurb.0

It does help that this is a relatively expensive house (£385k) in a place where property prices are higher than average (Romford). That means that uplift in value is more likely to cover some building costs. But, if you have to do everything by hiring professional builders, the total cost could still be high and make that uneconomic.
The last sale in that road was for £420k, but that was a terraced house. Last end terraced that sold was for £500k. That one looked to be post-refurb, with a kitchen island and other 'trendy' stuff.
Looking on Satellite, I too can't see how cars get to the garage. Is there a gate in the fence that cars can get through? In any case, you can obtain the title plan for the house for £3 from the land registry, and it would be a good idea to check the neighbours title plan too.
Are you looking to buy it and flip it? Or are you the current owner and are trying to sell it? Zoopla estimates the value of the house to be £398k, and Zoopla estimates tend to be on the higher side rather than the lower side.0 -
My sister has a similar house with a shared drive, and they have also fenced off the garden/entrance to garage. Many of these garages are now unstable, with asbestos roofs. Most people use them for storage. Guessing with the massive cars people now have, the access to the garages is also an issue. Smaller cars should be okay.

Painting I can do.
Flooring will need people in.
Kitchen, if the carcass or body of the shelves are sturdy, i may just replace the doors/vinyl wrap them, and change worktop.
I'm worried about the boiler though, how would i know it's not knackered. Is this something that is checked in a survey?0 -
