PCN issued at Matisse road Hounslow by private parking solutions (London) limited - appeal rejected

Did you speak with a staff member and obtain a permit? Not that would prevent you from receiving a PCN at this notorious spot.m Please show us the NtK you received as there is often a discrepancy with the address. If it goes to POPLA you can bet that PPS will submit a plan of the area under their control that has been doctored to alter the road names from the original in Google Maps.2

Yes, they said it was fine to park there, but that's a verbal agreement. Do you reckon even with this I should bother with the POPLA appeal or would it not make a difference?LDast said:Did you speak with a staff member and obtain a permit? Also just to add, my mother was in the car and she had witnessed the entire thing (Flareup) she can also be seen in one of the pictures taken by the warden does this make any difference?0

Ambiguous signage messages (and one that is completely obliterated with spray paint) is something that can win at POPLA, yes.
The operator can't say on the one hand "NO PARKING" but on the other hand, effectively:
"Have you parked? If so it's fine, speak to us for permission" says the business on site!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You have not posted any signage that says "customer parking", you have posted a sign on a door the could have been stuck on by the man in the moon stating to speak to a staff member to obtain a permit which I assume you didn't get due to your predicament, IMHO it does not help against a scamming PPC.But you should concentrate on the signage which is forbidding where you can see it, you obviously couldn't, this is a notorious back road but @Bob50000 beat these idiots at POPLA with an excellent appeal, look it up, it's on page 443 of the POPLA decisions thread.2
