Dear Sir/Madam,
After careful review, this claim has been decided in your favour and 150.00
GBP has been credited to your account.
This is the maximum amount covered by PayPal. If your claim was for more
than the amount recovered, the outstanding balance is due from the seller
and we will make our best effort to recover it for you.

i dunno he was a scammer how would i find out0 -
I doubt if he had the full protection if he was a scammer. You were lucky to get £150 back. If you have the item number it may still be on ebay to check.0

It sounds like seller did not have full paypal protection just the basic which is a worry if you risk spending over the £150. However If you funded the payment by credit card you can claim the difference back off them.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
