Hi have an ISA with Barclays for 22/23 matured 27/2.Have one with another provider for 23/24 both cash ISAs . Barclays said I can open a new one with them for 23/24 but I thought I had used that allowance any help.thanks.

Barclays won't know what you've done with another provider, so the onus is on you to make the formal declaration about whether you've subscribed elsewhere. However, you can open another ISA with anyone if it's used solely for transferring in prior year money, as the (current) restriction only relates to paying new money into one ISA of each type in any tax year.0
