Registration of flat purchase with Land Registry

I completed on the purchase of a flat with share of freehold in April 2023 and received notification in January 2024 from the online solicitor that I used that the business has been closed and they had not been able to finalise my registration with the Land Registry. They have advised that I contact a new solicitor and that they will transfer all documents/information and the fee held which I assume means the Land Registry fee of £100. Surely they should also be responsible for the new solicitor's costs for finalising the registration as the cost of this service formed part of the total fee paid for legal services. How much would a solicitor generally charge for finalising a land registration. Any advice would be appreciated. Spindlylegs
