Do you love piano music? If so this is the concert for you, with an opportunity to hear not one but two pianos in various combinations, performed by four of the world’s leading pianists at this year’s Surrey Hills International Music Festival. It takes place at The Menuhin Hall, Stoke d’Abernon KT11 3QQ.
Festival Director Wu Qian leads this spectacular evening featuring a number of works for piano duo by Brahms, Rachmaninov and others. The programme’s exciting finale is Ravel’s flamboyant La Valse. The programme will also include a performance of the winning entry in the Young Composer Competition 2024 on the theme of celebration, in recognition of the Festival’s 15th season.
