I didn’t receive anything until 25/9 which said due to no response to the previous letter (not received)
You might not believe the number of cases we get here reporting exactly that.  Very often, the reason for non receipt is due to the PPC writing to the last recorded address held by the DVLA. That address is provided to the DVLA by you via your V5C (logbook).  Many people fail to update the DVLA of a change of address by updating their logbook (a separate action to updating the driving licence).

Please check (not guess) your V5C and if not up to date, advise the DVLA (can be done online), as a failure to have the correct address exposes you to a £1,000 fine from the DVLA.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

And if your address is correct on your V5C document please support this.
So many people don't receive 1st and/or 2nd pcn but the £170 payment due letter often manages to drop through letter boxes.

PPCs always claim discounted rate/full rate pcns/court claim letters were sent though they offer no evidence to prove this. Since they CHOOSE NOT to provide evidence of their posting we must continue to press gov to ensure they do and see it included in the new Parking CoP.

    Please sign/share @jmccabe petition closes 22nd june 2024.

Sorry I’m more of a Twitter girl so don’t know how to respond to individual replies. So a big thank you to you all!
Unfortunately the correct postcode - [Removed by Forum Team] was on the first PCN I received so I don’t think I can use that in my defence. This is really my problem. I’m struggling to know what I can use as a defence.
I’m most !!!!!! off by the fact that they clearly didn’t send me the first 2 PCNs - especially since it appears this is a bit of a MO for them - but this obviously won’t work as a defence, and I’m reluctant to put myself through the stress of a court case unless I’m pretty confident of winning.
@Nellymoser - the address on my V5 is correct so I’ve signed the petition and will have words with my mp!
The SA1 area car parks are nearly all excel owned and the one I used had no signal (for my network) but was cash only. I’m betting they get a lot of income through PCNs.

But it's the post code on the POC's which is important.

You need to edit your first post or ask the Forum Team to do it.  Far too much information.

    I've sent you a pm.
