Judge on condition.  How many services have been missed?  212,000 isn't necessarily bad, it's down to how those miles have been done.  Bear in mind also that the average age of a car on the edge of the crusher is 14 years.

I think they are saying it has only done 212 miles ,they posted two hundred and twelve miles .the car is 1 years old so has only done 16 miles a year.

I think 13 years old and 212k miles does mean to tread carefully. Is this the 2.0 tdi?

It would hinge on the service history and mot advisories.

Is this a trader? If yes, and all the documentation is there, then £2600 is about right.

Maybe compare with the 184k/£2450 one on autotrader

There was a model change in 2011. The newer one had four conspicuous bars across the grill and more geometric headlights

There are lots of similar models with the same engines in the VAG range. You may find better value with a Skoda badge (Octavia, Superb) or Seat badge (Exeo, or from 2013 the Leon ST which has a lot of space in a slightly smaller body)

Seems I got a bargain in 2018.   Registered in December 2013, 2L estate182,000 miles for £2995 if they are still fetching £2600.

Nah, they were responding to 21,000 or 212,000.
