EV and Predicted Mileage

My salary sacrifice vehicle was set at 5000mile per year , 48months. No business miles were allocated as I was only expected to commute. I was asked to support another project , requiring 6400 miles, which incurred £1500 charges. If I’d had business miles correctly added , I would have paid ~ £12 per month. Also , penalised by 5p per mile fuel expenses as some offsite charging was 75p per kWh , equating to ~ 31p per mile. Am I able to recover these costs please

If your employer required you to do the extra mileage I would expect them to be making you whole.
