Deposit deductions

Hi all. We left a flat a few weeks ago. The letting agents are only now getting round to dealing with the deductions from our deposit. They requested a deduction, we agreed via their online portal, provided bank details and we’re waiting payment.
The following day the lettings agents now want to deduct further monies from our deposit. Can they do this if deductions are already agreed?

Yes they can if additional issues have come to light which are valid. If they are not valid then dispute in the normal way.

Do the deductions reflect the checkout inventory/ condition report and change from the check-in? After adjusting for wear and tear.1

Portal? Do you mean agents system or deposit scheme? Simply dispute everything through deposit scheme, set up by parliament to prevent the worst landlord abuses over deposits1
