Paying CGT if move back to UK from abroad

Sold a house this year and I live abroad so payed non-res CGT amount.
Might be moving back to UK next year, by which time I will have been just over 5years away. WIll I owe UK HMRC the extra CGT?

Not sure if it's five years from sale or five years from leaving UK that is important!

The sale. The amount of CGT owed is based on the circumstances when you sold the property, not what happens 5 years done the line. HMRC doesn’t get a second bite of the cherry.
