2.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN	ON-AIR COMPETITION(S): (1)     ABSOLUTE RADIO BREAKFAST SHOW COMPETITION: There will be one winner each day from Monday 27th November 2023 to Friday 1st December 2023. A total of 5 winners will win across the duration of this competition. To be eligible to win, entrants must call when promoted to be in with the chance of being selected to be brought to air to play to win. An entrant will be selected at random from all calls and will be asked to play the competition. Mechanic: Each day the randomly selected contestant will join Dave Berry on the Breakfast Show and will take part in the classic family game ‘Play Your Cards Right’, where we will be giving it a Tesco twist and play with gift cards – here the Absolute presenters will display 5 cards, it will be the contestant’s job to determine whether each gift card has a higher or lower amount than the previous one. The contestant will keep winning a higher value gift card until they get the answer incorrect in this game of chance! If answered incorrectly, the contestant will only win the amount that they previously guessed right.   There will be 1 opportunity to win every weekday from Monday 27th November to Friday 1st December between 6am-10am. If the caller doesn’t guess correctly, they will not be deemed a winner and therefore they will not win the prize and another winner will be contacted. If answered incorrectly, the contestant will only win the amount that they previously guessed right.   (2)     ABSOLUTE RADIO VIRTUAL NO OFFICE CHRISTMAS PARTY: There will be 5 winners across the day of this competition which takes place on Friday 8th December. To be eligible to win, entrants must call when promoted to be in with the chance of being selected to be brought to air to play to win. An entrant will be selected at random from all calls and will be asked to play the competition. Mechanic: On our ‘Virtual No Office Christmas Party’ takeover day, a randomly selected contestant will join us in the following Absolute Radio shows: The Dave Berry Breakfast Show (6am-10am) – 1 opportunity to win. The No Repeat Guarantee (10am-4pm) – 2 opportunities to win. Hometime with Bush and Richie (4pm-7pm) – 2 opportunities to win. Once the contestant is brought to air, they will be played a Christmas song which will be played in reverse. To win the on-air competition, the entrant must correctly guess the name of the Christmas song which is being played. If guessed correctly, they will win gift cards of their choice! If guessed incorrectly, another contestant will be picked to take part.   There will be 5 opportunities to win on Friday 8th December between 6am-7pm. If the caller doesn’t guess correctly, they will not be deemed a winner and therefore they will not win the prize and another winner will be contacted.   ONLINE COMPETITION: There will be one winner of the Competition. The winner will be selected from all those that correctly answer the competition question on the relevant online page. All valid entries will be pooled and the online winner will be chosen by electronic random draw on Wednesday 27th December (competition ends at 23:59 on Sunday 24th December)

If an entrant is successfully deemed a winner, the team will be in touch with them within 28 working days to arrange delivery of the prize. However if the winner cannot be contacted within 28 days from the date of the initial attempt to contact them/the on-air draw, then we will re-draw until we draw a winner that we are satisfied (in our sole discretion) fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.   2)      ABSOLUTE RADIO VIRTUAL NO OFFICE CHRISTMAS PARTY: Entries must be submitted during the following entry period: Friday 8th December 2023 (the “Start Time”) *between 6am and 7pm (“End Time”). *The specific opening and closing times of the on-air competition will be announced by the presenter during each show (6am-7pm).  Entries received before the Start Time or after the End Time will be invalid. We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. 3.        MISCELLANEOUS.

 

• Entries which do not comply with these Terms or the General Competition Terms and Conditions will not be accepted and any entries may be disqualified if we have any reason to suspect that there is a breach of, or non-compliance with, these Terms.
• Where a competition mechanic involves the answering of questions, the correct answers to questions must match our answers to win (or be sufficiently close in our sole reasonable opinion) to be acceptable. In the event of any dispute about any answers given and whether they are correct, we reserve the right to amend what we deem a correct answer, however we are not obliged to, and our decision in either case is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.
