Premier Park - 3x £100 invoices whilst ex friend from abroad using a car am I liable?
Visitorhelp
A now ex friend was using my car whilst visiting me from Greece and working from coffee shops and overstayed the 2 hour time slot on three occasions in a week. The parking charge notices arrived a few days ago and he is refusing to pay for them and we had a falling out.
I assume right thing to do is appeal/provide his details in Greece, but if he ignores the letters and refuses to pay I wanted to know whether I would be liable when it comes to court.

If you fell out transfer liability to him2

If he doesn’t pay would it not come back on me as a keeper of the car?0

If you use the transfer of liability slip at the bottom of the PCN and give his name and a serviceable address in Greece, you have done your bit!1

It isn't about him paying itVisitorhelp said:If he doesn’t pay would it not come back on me as a keeper of the car?
Transfer liability and keep an audit trail of you having done so
Any issues come back it. Do it online for all the pcns2 -
Simple enough - fill in the Transfer of Liability tear off on the rear side of the Notice to Keeper. You will need to do it separately for each one.Grizebeck said:If you fell out transfer liability to himPlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
