How much (roughly) for these electrical works?

Wondering if any sparkies out there might give me an idea on what this work would be. I have a price but I'm just mildly concerned they think I'm a cash cow...

  • Supply wire and install 6 recessed LED downlights
  • Install pendant in kitchen + wiring
  • Add 3 gang switch + wiring
  • Add additional socket for build in microwave
  • Remove old heating control wiring
  • Remove double socket
  • Reconfigure existing kitchen wiring to new layout (added a dishwasher)
  • Drill core hole and install ducting for extractor

Just get another written quote from another  2 tradesmen. Then compare them.
That's the only way it can be done.
Get everything in writing and pay nothing until you are satisfied with the job.
Oay some or all of it with a card for extra protection

make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

There isnt much to go off there, but a very rough ball park figure would be about £2 - 2.5k, that is allowing for the following. but your location would have a big baring on costs as would spec of accessories and access under floors and above ceilings.

    • All materials supplied by electrician
    • £350 per day for labour
    • 3-4 visits due to kitchen works needing to be done as job progresses
