The Beachcroft Hotel, on the beach in the beautiful South Downs of West Sussex, is the ideal seaside bolthole for couples, families, friends and four-legged companions. Each of the four seafront suites has a stylish lounge area, its own terrace overlooking the pebble beach, a mezzanine master bedroom (and there’s even a small bunkbed room at the back of the suite for kids).

As well as the Beach Hut Suites, the hotel has 40 bedrooms, including dog‑friendly rooms, family Sea View rooms and the Penthouse Suite with balcony.

There are plenty of activities for all to enjoy nearby, from wine tasting at the Tinwood Estate and exploring Arundel Castle’s rich history and heritage, to bracing beach walks and dolphin spotting from the hotel’s own paddle boards.

There are three restaurants at the hotel: Blake’s Beach Bar and Terrace with a private outdoor dining pod, offering stone-baked pizzas, light bites and cream teas; Tamarisk Restaurant serving à la carte dining and afternoon tea and Monty’s Bistro, serving British classics. The restaurant team prides itself on using the freshest ingredients only.

The Prize: A two-night stay in a Beach Hut Suite at The Beachcroft Hotel for two people including full English breakfast, one dinner with a house bottle of wine, and afternoon tea in Tamarisk Restaurant for two people including a bottle of Tinwood Sparkling Wine.

I wonder if a child would be allowed too as it states each room has the kids bed at the back.
