Hello,
Has anyone here ever sold an individual share that was down 60% plus to then immediately buy another share with the proceeds of said sale and then make up the money lost and more?
Would be interested to know people's stories.

I operate a stop loss system so would already have sold before it lost 60% of its value.0

Crypto or shares it's a rollercoaster . From the FTSE link select say 20 shares and then set each chart to ALL. The volatility is eyewatering.
If an index can range say 20% in an average year then just think what happens to a single share.

Once bought a car dealership (COWIE) years ago (telephone dealing) and next day it doubled. In a company share shave the option was 107p. After 5 years I bought and share rose to 200p. Stock market crashed and it was down to 50p. Held until recovery and sold at 130p. 5 years later it was 1200p. Recently crashed again to 60p so I bought in and out from 80p . Stopped playing a few months ago at 120p. Today 230p.
My best efforts have been in a Single company PEP plan just before ISA's. Basically rules were £3,000 to invest in a single company. Traded my way to £26,000 before transfer to ISA. Still trading away with the help of TA ( tea leaves) and results are much better than global tracker so that'll do for me.2
