Cistern inlet valve with a longer thread. In brass...

Hi.
Connection to inlet valve spontaneously failed, and thankfully I was in as water began to literally drip on my head.
Bought new Flomasta with a brass threaded inlet from SF, then removed the old one - to find the threaded section of the orginal is a shade over 55mm long, which it needs to be, as it passes through both the cistern and the toilet below. The Flomasta's is around 40mm long...
I'm surfing, but wondering if anyone on here knows of a Torbeck-style inlet valve with a long brass threaded part?
Thanks.

Something like this might help to elongate if there is space to fit? https://www.bes.co.uk/tap-extension-1-2in-m-x-1-2in-f-10222/

Maybe best to go to a proper old fashioned plumbers merchant / hardware store with the old inlet valve to see what they have or can suggest for you?

Nice idea, but it goes through a tight hole in the ceramic.
I think I found one on SF - it has a 50mm long threaded part, which should be fine.
    Cheers - hopefully sorted.

    Salt and wound.
The drip landed on my head as I dragged our new, just-delivered, TV through t'dining room.
Now that 'water issue' has been curtailed, time to unbox TV.
    Screen's cracked.
