Hi,

I've received a section 13 notice, increasing my rent by £100, this is about 15% increase. I just learnt this is a unilateral decision and there is no room for negotiation. However the first rent increase date is not the date I usually pay my rent, there are 5 days difference. I pay on 17 of each month and this new rent starts this month on 12th sept.
I asked for a new notice, but the agency says I can pay as usual just need to adjust my standing order to the new rent. would that be okay, or do they have to send me another section 13 notice giving me a month's notice again?
Thanks
