Tyre Destroyed by Ratchet strap or Pothole - claim?
I went over the metal part of a ratchet strap that was strewn over the road and then immediately went over a pothole. This caused a gash in my tyre which quickly deflated and went flat.
The replacement cost £130. Can I apply to claim the costs back? If so who would I write to and how should I go about it for the best chance of being successful?
Many thanks

You write to whoever left the ratchet strap on the road. Good luck!1

More likely the ratchet so find out who it was, the circumstances that got it there and sue whoever it was... the driver if it was an unsafe load, the teenager if its some kid doing a prank etc.0
