Chargeback Help

I recently received a bed that I paid for delivery and assembly. The installers quickly set up the bed and would not wait while I inspect it due to being late for another job. I soon after realized that the mattress was a double instead of the king size I ordered.
I contacted the delivery party, but they refused to take back the incorrect mattress as they stated they were contracted on behalf of the seller and just delivered and installed what they were given by him. I was not supplied with any paperwork to sign or confirmation of the order being satisfied.
Despite multiple attempts to reach out to the seller, I have not received any response and have decided to initiate a chargeback. My main goal was to have the mattress swapped, but the lack of communication from the seller makes this unlikely.
I am unsure of my responsibilities regarding the bed and mattress, especially since I do not want to store the incorrect mattress for an extended period. If the seller does not respond to my requests, I may have to order a new mattress and bed . I am considering requesting compensation for storage if the mattress remains with me for too long is this reasonable?

Not really.
Who is the retailer? How are you 'reaching out" to them?1 -
So bed is the right size and mattress is too small or both are the wrong size?
Once the money has been lifted from their account they will probably be more interested in getting their goods back. If they aren't you should make reasonable attempts to get them to collect it but give them a reasonable deadline to make the arrangements by and advise that after this date the item will be sold on eBay and the sale price, less fees, will be available to them after that date.1 -

They are likely to challenge the chargeback on the grounds that they have not breached their contract with you, ie. they have delivered and assembled a bed and mattress.0

I meant to say
The seller is likely to challenge the chargeback on the grounds that they have not breached their contract with you, ie. the seller has (via their agent) delivered and assembled a bed and mattress.0 -

For this type for chargeback. Not as described. You need proof of what ordered & proof of received.Life in the slow lane0
