Good morning, my family & I moved out to Germany last August 2022. Currently our house in the UK is rented out. Our insurance provider won't renew our Landlords policy because we are not residing in the UK. Could someone recommend an Insurer for Landlords not residing in the UK but still hold a British Passport. Kind regards

It wont matter what nationality you are, it's where you are living at the time of making the purchase. If you are in Germany the seller will have to have the rights to sell insurance in Germany. Pre-Brexit this wasn't an issue as all companies had passporting rights if they wanted to but now we are not in the EU they need explicit permissions and often need to have at least a branch in the EU to operate from.
You may find it easier buying the insurance from a German outfit.0
