EV tax relief for pensioners

in Cutting tax
Probably a stupid question so apologies...but given that tax relief is available to employees through salary sacrifice (assuming your employer signs up) is this something which could be available to private or company pensions? That is, the costs of leasing an EV are taken out of the pension pre-tax. Presumably this is something which would need to be set up by the pension trustees but does anyone know whether this has ever been done? Thanks!

You've already had tax relief contributing to the pension so it seems unlikely HMRC would allow "double dipping"
You have the option of using the tax-free lump sum to pay for a vehicle

I've never heard of this, but I assume the answer is in the question, available to employees through "salary" sacrifice. However, just because I've never come across it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.0

Unfortunately there are no deductions available to set against income from pensions. Nor can the pension scheme buy or lease the EV.0

Thanks folks...hadn't thought about the double dipping aspect. Just an idle thought as I am now approaching retirement!0
