Anglian Windows

Since September 2020 we have been trying to get Anglian Windows to come and repair our windows under guarantee.  Whilst occasionally someone will turn up they never bring the correct kit and so just disappear again.  On their website the "chat" button is not working and you cannot get through to them.  Has anyone any ideas as to a good course of action.  They seem to be just ignoring anyone unless they are ordering new windows.

Follow the legal guidelines.......write, detail what needs doing, give them a reasonable time to complete, say 28 days. Tell them if not done within the time you will get someone else to carry out the work and claim the costs back from them through the small claims court.

Check what your guarantee says......Windows usually come with a 10year insurance backed guarantee.

The insurance will (often) not kick in unless the supplier is no longer trading.

Be warned, Anglian Windows has a very large legal department, so you could find yourself with a fight on your hands.
