Car tax and V5C issue help please!

I have just realised that my car isn't taxed. I haven't had any notification through the post. Does this mean the car isn't registered to me?  I have an old log book (V5C) which hasn't been signed by the Registered keeper. I began leasing my car in Dec 2020. I had the new keeper's slip to tax the car initially but it appears that the tax ran out in December 22 which has left me cold. I can't renew online either. 

Can anyone advise please?

Yes, the leasing company is usually the registered keeper, and so would get any reminders. If that is the case, they should be able to give you the reference number to tax the car.
