Hi, looking at taking advantage of the bank switching bonuses at the moment, but just wondering how long you have to keep the account open before you can switch again.  I.e. do you have to get your salary paid into it, or once bonus is paid, can you leave and go elsewhere?

There's no one-size-fits-all answer, you just need to satisfy all the terms of the relevant offer in order to qualify for the bonus, and then you'll be free to go elsewhere as long as there's no clause allowing it to be clawed back if leaving within n weeks/months (which is unusual but not unheard of).
