Hi my PHONE and TEXT-phone (as opposed to my Whatsapp and modern apps phone) is a Samsung J3 (2016), and while making some calls today I accidentally pressed something I shouldn't, and two white squares appeared on the bottom of the screen. I didn't have my reading glasses on so I couldn't see what they said, but I accidentally pressed the right one and now all the icons are HUGE.

I tried Display settings > Size, but that's only for Font size...

and then I tried Accessability Settings, but there's nothing in there either for icon size either.

I tried looking through the manual online but doing a search for icon or display yielded nothing helpful within the manuals.

Does anyone know how I can rget the icons back to normal please. You could fit 4 across the screen. Now it's only 3.

I also messed up the ability to move icons around as well, so I can no longer have my favourite apps on the home screen.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

The first pic is what it SHOULD look like...
The second pic is what mine looks like now I've messed it up!

Thank you

Not a Samsung expert but try a long press on a blank area of the home screen, that may bring up a menu to sort your issues.

Hi thanks for that but it didn't work sadly.

It's just openeing the apps that are nearest (probably because they are massive!)

Tried every part of the screen but no joy  :'(

Thank you, that wold be perfect if I had the same options as the guy in the video, but when he presses Settings > Display he gets so many options he has to scroll to see them all. I have only five options under Setings > Display, and none of them affect the icons size. But thank you anyway!

You can download a copy manual for your phone from Samsung here

Looking at it, it looks like you have switched to Easy Mode (simpler layout, bigger icons).  To revert to Standard "Swipe to the left on the Home screen and tap Settings → Easy mode → Standard mode → DONE"

    Woohoo! That was it!
It was in Easy Mode. Back to Standard mode now.

    Thanks so much @tizerbelle

Thanks, no that didn't work. I tried that. It was in Easy Mode. Sorted now but thank you. I DO miss obvious stuff (usually in supermarkets) so it's always worth pointing these things out to me!
