When did you buy the bike?
If you continue to have problems with Motorcycle World in Northampton you might be able to make a chargeback through your bank provided you bought it less than 120 days ago.1 -
And stops on the hard shoulder to engage cruise control.PHK said:Sorry you ride a bike that had oil leaking out and on the tyres?3 -

Your consumer rights are with the retailer but there's nothing stopping a manufacturer intervening to help a customer under warranty or just because they want to. The OP said they didn't really want to return the bike to the dealer so in that case the most obvious next step would be to contact Suzuki and see if they can help. So not 'pointless', no. Whether it results in a solution or not is a different question but there's certainly plenty of things Suzuki COULD do if they wanted to.Wonka_2 said:
Which is a pointless exercise as your rights are with the retailer.coventrian said:Anyway i have phoned suzuki and left it with them to try and sort out. Its left a very bad taste dealing with them and my confidence in them has gone to zero.2 -

Its left a very bad taste dealing with them and my confidence in them has gone to zero.I did phone suzuki customer services and they called back yesterday. She said as far as thier tech team are concerned, the cruise control could be caused by a brake sensor cancelling it.which would make sense. The vibration, they say on this model,is not a known problem but could be caused by upgrades/additions. As i have fitted teardrop r&g crash protectors, they say this could be cause.so they will check that and foot pedal height (which i haven't altered). The shop is adamant they assembled the panniers correctly and still refuse to reimburse me for the waterproofs. She also said that she takes her bike there and the dealer is very good!(not likely to screw her over tho).As for the warranty on the pans they will repair it or replace it.I refused to use this dealer again so i will book with another, being biker world in Coleshill. But as you suggested, not a waste of time dealing with suzuki as when the warranty investigations/repairs are completed, i am to call her again and they will offer some sort of help as a goodwill gesture. As for the serious oil leak the shop said was a factory gasket assembly problem(which IS rubbish),i know this bike was rushed through the workshop to get this bike ready for collection, its clear this was their fault.Just disappointed that they didn't hold their hands up and admit it was them and not suzuki.I will wait to see what the outcome is after the repairs.I am seriously thinking of contacting suzuki's head of global sales, to let them know what a uk dealer of their bikes is behaving like. Thanks to all of you for taking the time to advise and/or comment.

Good to see you got a positive outcome.
(Now think I'm going to take a break from this board, new format is hurting my eyes to use.)2 -
Maybe turn down the brightness a little!
