I've deposited the minimum of £1000 into Shawbrook Bank. They are closed at weekends so I can't phone them. Does anyone know, if you make a withdrawal from the £1000 a lower rate of interest is paid? Maybe you have to add more funds to make withdrawals? Thank you for any advice.

You can only withdraw £500 at a time. Anything less than £1000 and you only get a tiny amount of interest.

I think it's about 0.5% if your balance drops below £1000. It's definitely on their website somewhere.

Ah, what's one decimal place between friends?   o:)

I think the message is the same, don't go below £1000.

@vernon I'm a bit confused as to why you want to withdraw money from it already.

Umm, just being pedantic but tou can withdraw as much as you like (up to the daily limits, I assume they have them), but the minimum withdrawal amount is £500.

True, good to make that clear 👍 was what I meant but didn't write too well.
