Top Mount Bearing

What would be a reasonable price to pay for the supply and fit on a C3?
And are they best done in pairs?

The part itself isn't that expensive, something like £30 or £40 a side.

By the time you have the strut off, compressed the spring, replaced the mount and refitted it all, I would guess around an hour a side in a well equipped garage, double that rolling around the floor!

Done in pairs? I guess it depends.
If it's a long term keeper, maybe do both.
If it's a tickle a long banger, just do the one that's worn if you're certain the other isn't suspect.

It's not really saving you any time or labour doing both at the same time, the job is just doubled doing both.

There is a train of thought that you should do both sides when it comes to suspension, but it's a top mount and shouldn't alter much between the sides like a spring or damper might.
