Pressed the wrong button, I will continue...

I "apparently" overstayed the time limit at Riverside Retail Park in Norwich on 7th April 2023, client is Highview parking.

This is the 1st correspondence ive received about this, its the usual letter giving me 14 days to pay or ill be taken to court blah blah blah...

My vehicle is a long term lease vehicle so im not the registered owner and I have also not had any letters from the lease company saying they had received a parking fine.

I have tried contacting Highview Parking Ltd but can only get an answering machine, no way to speak to a human. I contacted dcbl and they told me I either have to pay or theyll take me to court, but she did say I may be able to claim the £140 from royal mail as they lost the original post, but I suspect there was no original letter.

Whats my 1st step as obviously its abit different being a lease vehicle and having no contact from the lease company.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello and welcome.

You need to tell us more.
    What is that letter threatening?

    Please give us some background.
For a start... is this anything to do with the parking of a motor vehicle?

I wasnt sure Plan A would work with it being a lease vehicle and being past the 21 days

Even though the Successful Complaints linked thread shows retail parks cancelling PCNs many years after events?

PLAN A is for ALL cases at all stages.

I'd also ask your lease firm for copies of what they received and exactly how they replied. Maybe your lease firm is giving out your old address?

Ok, ill complain to the retailer tonight then, as it was a retail park, do I just go for the biggest store on the site?

Ill also contact my lease company to see if they've received anything. I havent changed my address though

Ask for all comms sent & received. Maybe the lease firm has your wrong house number & gave that out.

More likely the managing agent responsible for overseeing the retail park.  See if Google can identify them. Alternatively, their name is often at the foot of the welcome board that lists the various outlets on site at the entrance to the car park.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Are you near to Riverside Retail Park in Norwich?

If so, go and have a close look at this entrance totem sign...

The contact details of the site managing agents are listed there.
