Transfer tax-free childcare account from one parent to another

Good afternoon,

I have a tax-free childcare account (gov.uk/sign-in-childcare-account). I am aware that you can only have one account per child (it's up to you to decide which parent/carer manages it).
I would like my partner to manage it instead of me: how do I transfer my account to him - not sure if there's a way to do this? The only thing I can think of is closing my account (not sure how) and have him open one in his name.

Hi Spoutnik, did you ever find a solution to this? I have the same problem and would really like to avoid deleting one/creating another account (I imagine it will be laborious and slow and probably end up losing money for a while)
